Oh, the wonders of clear, cool, winter days. They fill me up and give me life as I anticipate the colors at sunrise, the soothing sounds of water and the breathtaking views that brighten and enliven my spirit.

My pull to get outside was greater than my warm bed...so I prepped our pack and headed out! Living just minutes from the beauty of the Columbia river Gorge's scenic areas, I prepped my gear at 5 am, packed with water, snacks and coffee (my current coffee of choice, Cycle Town Coffee Roasters). In the pre-dawn sunrise, Oliver and I headed out in below freezing temps. Just as happy as can be to rising and shining like the golden sun for me....
Some call it hiking, I call it scouting!
One of my signatures as a photographer is my year-round adventurous spirit! Photo sessions are special outings--not far away--but far enough to feel awakened and wrapped in the love of nature.
I love providing an experience for people! Not only do they look relaxed when photographed---they are! These emotions are forever captured on their walls. The memories of a fun adventure stay with them for a lifetime.
[About this photo: Oliver is a nature-guy at heart. Wherever I go, there he is. He loves to take in the scents and adventure. He's my muse, a handsome fellow, and even more patient and curious. At this particular moment, however, Oliver's focus was set on the trees waving in the distance. It's one of the few moments he would stay still. Lucky me to have a friend so loyal and true.]
